At Moscelium, we start by growing mycelium in a circle that serves as the basis of moss artwork. We then create artistic designs made from ECO moss, creating a biodegradable and fully sustainable product.
Moscelium is renewable and requires few resources and energy to grow. By adding moss, we add another layer of sustainability and aesthetics to the product. Our goal is to create both sustainable and aesthetically pleasing creations that bring a piece of sustainable nature into the space.
Currently, we at Moscelium offer a selection of circular creations in two different sizes: 40 cm and 60 cm in diameter. These circles are available in two beautiful basic shapes to choose from: natural and in a chestnut marbled look.
Basic shape and edge finishing of the moss circle
Finish 1: Natural
The natural Moscelium circles are characteristic of nature's simplicity. These creations are made of pure mycelium in a white colour. These circles combined with moss create a natural and rustic look, which will fit perfectly into any natural environment or modern room.
Finish 2: Chestnut
For those who want something more daring, we also have our moss circles made of mycelium with a chestnut brown marbled look. We give the hyphae (fungal threads) a bit more space as they grow, naturally creating a beautiful marbled pattern. This creates a warm and natural look in the room.
The Moscelium moss circles are handmade to order in Asten (NL) with the utmost care.

We also offer the possibility to have the moss circle hung by our assembly team. Should this be desirable please indicate this when checking out. We will then contact you, you will also receive an additional price for this.
