Yes, it is real moss. It grows naturally and is preserved with natural salts. As a result, it is elastic, requires no maintenance and has a long lifespan.

The mosses are 100% natural and fairly sourced. The mosses are harvested under state supervision, the whole processing is ECO-FRIENDLY.

No, the moss is maintenance-free. It needs no water, light or other maintenance. This is what makes the product so special.

Touch and low humidity affect the lifespan. If both are avoided as much as possible, the moss artwork is guaranteed to remain beautiful for years.

Most of the moss creations on our website are no longer alive. This is because we have prepared it so that it always remains beautifully green and maintenance-free. We also have living mosses. Our advice is not to use these for a moss wall or moss artwork. This moss is suitable for seasonal decoration. We would be happy to advise you on this.

We create our moss creations with the highest quality moss. Due to the natural salts in the moss, it remains soft at normal humidity levels (normal is 40-60%). If the humidity in a room is below 30%, the moss can temporarily feel harder, drier and more susceptible to damage. This is especially in the winter period: freezing cold outside and the heating on high.

As soon as the humidity increases again (due to outdoor rain, among other things), the moss becomes soft again. In extreme low humidity, the salts in the moss can bloom out. This can make the moss look pale/shallow. These are salt crystals that bloom out. This white haze can easily be taken away using a plant sprayer with water to mist over the moss. You will then see that the moss regains its dark natural hue.

We treat the moss creations with natural salts. Although it is and remains a natural product, the salts in the moss prevent insects from nesting in it. Moreover, this makes the moss fire-retardant.

Moss has high acoustic attenuation, eliminating annoying reverberation in both residential and office environments. Reindeer moss and ball moss give the highest acoustic attenuation.

Naturally, you can smell the moss. The odour decreases gradually; this can be accelerated by ventilating the room. The smell is completely natural and therefore harmless. Should you wish to neutralise the natural smell of the moss, we have a moss scent spray for this.

The moss can rub off on the wall or materials by hand/sliding. It is a preparation with natural salts and a tint in the chosen colour. Depending on the material, it can be cleaned with soap and water.

Despite our careful fixing of the mosses, tufts of moss may have come loose during transport. Using scissors, the creation can be cut back into 'shape'. This will prevent the moss from turning brown or yellow.

Under the influence of UV light, the moss may discolour slightly over time. Bright sunlight (UV light) can accelerate this process.

We provide a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty applies to our moss artwork. If the moss creation is placed outdoors, no warranty is provided. We also cannot offer a warranty on loose moss that you purchase and process yourself into a moss artwork.

We try to recreate the chosen style as much as possible. As it is a natural product, details may be different from the chosen photo. The sample photos are of a size of 100x100 or diameter 100 cm. If you choose another size, the layout/ratio will also differ from the chosen photo. Our moss artworks are completely handmade by our creative team. We do our best to match the style as much as possible.

We provide a hanging hole in the back panel for a circle with one hole and for a artwork with two holes. Using the hanging set (hook and plug), you can drill a hole in the wall, insert the plug and screw in the hook. Then hang the moss painting.

Are you ordering a larger size moss artwork, for example diameter 150 or 180 cm or 200x100 cm? Proceed as follows:

Concrete/stone: Order the hanging set for this. We will supply extra striking plugs for this. First drill the hanging hook into the wall and hang the moss artwork on it. You can then secure the circle with the impact plugs supplied. Drill from the front (moss side) through the moss and the back plate in the wall. Then insert the hammer plug and gently tap it with the hammer. The percussion plug will no longer be visible.

Plaster/wood/system wall: Order the suspension set for this. This can be done using screws from the front (moss side). Please note: The screws are not supplied by us. You screw from the front (moss side) through the moss and the back plate into the wall. The moss artwork will then tighten on the wall. As a result, the screw is no longer visible.

Our moss artworks have a base plate of 12 mm MDF on which we attach the moss. The moss has a thickness of 3-7 cm depending on the type of moss.

ECO moss 1-2 cm, total construction including base plate 3 cm

Flat moss 2-3 cm, total construction including base plate 4 cm

Reindeer moss 4-6 cm, total construction including base plate 7 cm

You can blow the moss artwork clean by using a hairdryer on a cold setting. You can also carefully vacuum clean the moss artwork with a hoover on the lowest setting.

As standard, the ends are black, this is not a frame or raised edge (most natural). An absolute must for our moss circles is to frame the moss creation with a high-quality steel border in RAL 9005 MAT black.

Based on the selected photo, we will then keep this atmosphere as a guide. Do you have other wishes, e.g. less bright colours, more relief? Feel free to let us know we are completely open to it, you can indicate this in the comments box. We will make it completely according to your wishes!

The delivery time is stated with the product. If you want it faster, you can pick it up in Asten (by appointment). You can indicate this on the order form.

The moss creation can be hung outdoors provided it is dry. For example, under a canopy, in the conservatory, veranda or pool house. We cannot guarantee this due to weather or other natural influences.

Should you wish to return the moss artwork you ordered despite our careful efforts? Please contact us via email [email protected]. We will work with you to find a solution to ensure you are happy with the moss artwork you purchased. If you still wish to return the artwork, you will pay the shipping costs. All our moss artworks are custom-made what we make to order especially for you. You have a 14-day cooling-off period. You can send us the product in its original packaging. Please contact [email protected] first. You can also return the artwork to our showroom, Florapark 14 in Asten (NL).
